As Voltamp moves into its 15th year of operation, I look back with pride at the accomplishments and the brand name ‘Voltamp'. From a humble start of manufacturing and supplying distribution transformers and low voltage panels in Oman, Voltamp has come a along way. With sales doubling in just two years, we are today exporting more than 60% of our production of Transformers.
Our Switchgear business has also witnessed a steep growth in business with steady demands from the Oil & Gas, Utility & infrastructure sectors. Voltamp has successfully supplied & commissioned state of the art Intelligent MCCs to the Oil & Gas sector in Oman. This was also possible due to the timely actions taken for modernization of our Switchgear plant and machinery.
Besides having manufactured and supplied transformers upto 15MVA transformer, we are also today a Grade A contractor for turnkey Sub-station projects.
Whether it is special duty transformers, normal duty transformers, Power Transformers or Low Voltage Switchboards, Voltamp has always been known for the quality it delivers. We have always believed that quality is not a destination but a journey and improvements in every sphere of operation has always been high on our agenda.
While I say this, I also believe we have a lot more to do. We have projects in fray that would take us to the next level of a Transmission & Distribution (T&D) company in the next 2 years and thus we would be able to serve a wider spectrum of customers. Besides this, our JV Transformer Plant in Qatar would enable more additional capacity in the present range and reduce the delivery time.
We trust in the coming times Voltamp would make even further contribution to the Region's Power development.
